Joe Maemone

Joe Maemone was the leader of The Swing Solution and the band's lead trumpet player for 10 years. He comes from New York and he played in many of the local bands in that area while a youngster, including spending some time with the Ralph Flanagan band. He was the lead trumpet and fluglehorn player for the Swing Solution and we frequently featured his great Harry James-like style. He is experiencing health problems and is taking a leave from the band. We're hoping he will be able to come back soon.

Joe has a BS in construction management and worked in that industry in New York for many years before moving to the West Coast. He owned a transmission repair shop for many more years before becoming a life and health insurance agent. Music and sports are his hobbies, the guy is an inveterate Yankees fan!
