Rolland Coe

Rolland is currently on an extended leave from The Swing Solution, but we expect him back in the near future. He was previously the band's musical director and personnel director, and was a member of the board of directors.

Rolland has been playing the trumpet for over 40 years and also plays the piano and Renaissance recorder. He's played in Bay Area big bands since the sixties and led his own rock group in the seventies.

Rolland lists his occupation as Builder. He can build just about anything, from a million-dollar mansion to boats or an airplane. His hobbies include gardening, raising Koi, sculpting, woodworking and he is the founder and president of The International Rubber Band Ball Society. He also claims to be a philanthropist, but we think he means philanderer.
